Anıl Eraslan was born in 1981. hH began playing cello and piano in Ankara then he went to France and studied classical, jazz and contemporary music at Strasbourg Conservatory. besides, he’s a free-improviser and plays also traditional turkish music in many projects. music has no strict borders between the genres.
in 2008, he created the band “Auditive Connection”. The group is awarded by Illiade Young Talents Festival and France ô Folies and in 2015 they are selected for JazzMigration tour which provide numerous concerts at national and international festivals.
He has collaborated with musicians such as Chris Heenan, Michael Vorfeld, Axel Doerner, Tobias Delius, Tristan Honsinger, Joost Buis, Alan Purves, Anne La Berge, Michael Moore, Ab Baars, Ig Henneman, Sergei Letov, Alexei Borisov, Olga Nosova, Christine Ott, Karl Berger, Tolga Tüzün, Lê Quan Ninh, Oliver Lake, Adam Rudolf, Kenny Wessel, Trilok Gurtu, Saadet Turkoz, Yann Tiersen, Matt Elliot…
Currently, he is playing in many different ensembles with Sumru Agiryürüyen, John Lindberg, Aysenur Kolivar, Sylvain Kassap, Eric Groleau, Auditive Connection, Balboura, Kemik Trio, Linea Ensemble, Hanatsu, Espèces d’Espaces.
